New to me 1650
I just picked up a 1975 1650 dual hyd. tractor with a 44" deck today for $200.00. Of course it needs some work. The fuels old but it seems to run good. The hour meter reads 642 hours and that very well is accurate.
It's missing the side covers, the headlight surround has been repaired but needs to be replaced to look right and has the wrong air cleaner assembly on it. The isolator mounts are shot, the pipe going into muffler is cracked, it leaks some oil and the deck seems like it needs some bearings but looks like it is good shape otherwise. I think I did pretty good.

Thanks everyone.
I'm kind of wondering what the brackets sticking out under each floorboard are for? It's amazing how much the engine moves around. The iso mounts are totally shot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
