Default Handy air lift table

well after much searching and debating i pulled the trigger on a 1500 lb air operated handy lift table. originally it was 80 by 48 inches, but the previous owner had a repair shop and welded on extensions. since i plan on using this for more thenn just tractors,i removed the sides and am in the process of fabricating them so they will be removable. i did pay a bit more then i wanted to,but i think its worth it. no more fixing stuff on a cold damp garage floor in the winter. i will post pics once i finish

i used 1 inch pipe for the cross bars, they are pinned on for easy removal. i also welded angle iron to the front of the ramps as a tire stop. i am working on customizing a car scissor jack for use with the table. i,m not into spending 100 dollars when my 3 dollar jack and some fabrication will work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
