K181 k181 ??
Is a rod for a 7hp longer than an 8hp?
According to the id tag it should be a 7 Stoke measures 8. Put it together and the piston sticks up from the block. 7hp kit. All the parts were handed to me. Somebody else did the parts buying. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Looks like the original engine, which would be a K-161, spec number 28542-E

My best guess is that a 8hp was put in but the old shroud was used.
