Default Wide frame hydro lift on a narrow frame

so my dad has a 147 and i just picked up an 1811. i have the long lift cylinder from a 1450. i have taken the rear end out of the 147 and mated the ported hydro pump from the 1811. now the question is where should i mount the lift valve? i dont think it will fit on the steering shaft... any input or pics?

On a custom build, it's up to you to solve the issues you run into. Mount it wherever you want.

Nightow1 and I are going to do this on his 147 when we get around to it. Havent personally seen it done yet, but then again, we aren't stopping with just adding a hydraulic lift...

Well had to have 2 32" hydraulic lines made and picked up a few 45 and 90° elbows. Everything is on and functional. Just have to fab a lift rod, seal the tube that does from the rear end to the pump (slow leak) and put the fenders on. Pretty simple conversion.

Lift rod assembly. Have to remake the flat stock with some thicker steel but it's done and functional.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
