SGT Section
What about a section for the SGT's?

Why do we need a seperate section for them?

Maybe easier for people to find things on the SGT's. Birds of the feather like to flock together. See if more people chime in.

Sounds ok to me, of course I don't have to do any work to make it happen.

They are the same as a GT, just 6" longer. They were the only Cubs to host an Onan, Kubota gasser, Kawasaki, or Mag 20's. Oh, and a different rock shaft.
That's more than I thought when I started typing.

I agree.... but we have special engine sections for all the motors. Like you said, the chassis is longer, but otherwise, no real difference in anything repair wise.

When I open this forum, I open new posts. That means I see everything new from my last visit, I believe even though my primary interest is Cyclops, Kohler Command and Briggs Vanguard.
What am I missing? |

Add the Haban deck, power steering and different rear end gearing.

The deck would fall under Implements and Attachments, and power steering did come on GTs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
