Default 2166 seat switch
I cant figure out how to get that SOB out. I removed the spade connectors and depress the plastic levers and it still won't come out. Looked at tons of youtubes but none show this particular switch clearly.

You have to twist it and depress the 3 locking pins.

Thanks. I already tried that...and promptly broke off the thumb tab used for rotating it. Ha. But at least I know I was on the right track

I'm just going to bypass it for now, I need to move the tractor today before it snows. Do I just connect the 2 wires to each other to effect a bypass?

Do to the potential liability we can not advise you how to by-pass any of the safety devices. You can thank the lawyers. That said this is the wiring diagram for the 2166.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
