Default What do you do for a living?
I'm interested to know what some of you guys do for a living. Or who's retired and what you used to do.
I'll start. As I've mentioned, I run a mechanic shop. We work on cars, heavy duty trucks, to tractors, oil field equipment, and construction. I've been in business for myself since December of 2002.

I am a welder/fabricator. The company I work for specializes in all types of agricultural equipment such as conveyors, elevators, bulk hoppers, things like that. We also do a lot of specialty welding on cast iron, stainless, and aluminum.

DANG, my buddy talked me into HVAC school after high school.

I got a 2 year degree in HVAC, then the Navy happened, I only ever fixed my own AC.

BUT, I loved all the thermodynamics they taught me. HVAC people REALLY understand how things work!!

Heat transfer is what moves (OR STOPS! ) most equipment in the world.
