What do you do for a living?
I'm interested to know what some of you guys do for a living. Or who's retired and what you used to do.
I'll start. As I've mentioned, I run a mechanic shop. We work on cars, heavy duty trucks, to tractors, oil field equipment, and construction. I've been in business for myself since December of 2002. Here's a few pics..... 2 Apart.jpgtrans2.jpg dozer4.jpgOK6.jpg Aren't you glad cubs aren't as hard to put clutches in as the IH in the upper left? |

I got a 2 year degree in HVAC, then the Navy happened, I only ever fixed my own AC. BUT, I loved all the thermodynamics they taught me. HVAC people REALLY understand how things work!! Heat transfer is what moves (OR STOPS! ) most equipment in the world. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
