Changing alternator belt on 1782?
will the driveshaft unbolt and slide back enough to change the alt belt, or does the engine need to come out? all the way out on the adjustment and looking rough! already have the radiator out currently.

You can pull the drive shaft by removing the 4 bolts that attach it to the adapter at the rear and then slide it out of the front CV joint.

is there a special grease I need to use on the cv's? was thinking of doing that while it was apart.
