Default Help with Rear Blade Maker/Info

Got this sleeve-hitch rear grader blade some years back to do my driveway, long before I got my first CC tractor. I was using my Craftsman GT5000

It is missing the maker's tag, but as you can see it is painted in what appears to be Cub Cadet yellow on the pull boom, with the blade being black where it's not rubbed off.

The blade can angle and it can also be swung complete around to do a finer leveling by using the back side if needed.

Any info is greatly appreciated and as to what year/tractors this blade was a optional accessory if it is a CC item.

That's not a Cub item, but it looks pretty sturdy. I'd love to find something like that; rear blades are really handy.

Not Cub Cadet.

Looks to be a possible conversion. Don't recognize it at the moment.

Thanks so much Cub123. That's it.

Found a couple and learned it's a M12 48" model and was made somewhere around mid 70's.

Kinda wished it was a CC model by the paint.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
