Default Clutch hanger for pulling clutch?
I have a 1200 that I have installed a MSC pulling clutch and I'm now having issues with the stock clutch hanger flexing. Its enough so that I am unable to depress the pedal all the way for fear of breaking something. I have heard of guys bracing the stock hanger to keep it from flexing but I cannot find anything showing just what they did. Anyone here come across the same problem? Does anyone make a stronger hanger for this clutch setup for a wide frame? Thanks!

that's common when you put the heavy springs in. you'll need to reinforce it

I'm not seeing any good way to brace it or anything to brace it to for that matter though.

pretty easy if you can weld and do a little fab work. WF and 82 series have the same problem .

Default hanger
Hi Traildust, From the hole in the middle top of the hanger bolt a turnbuckle from there to a hole up inside one side of the dash. I've done a wf and 82 this way. A steel turnbuckle is best if you can find one. Some guys use a threaded rod from the hanger back through the dash bolted in front of the shifter. Mike
