What should I expect to pay ?
Well its official, my bones can no longer take this cold so I'm in the market for a cab for my 1450 and possibly my 1000 a hard cab with hard doors is prefured. What should I expect to pay for one? I'm in central Illinois. Average prices on hard cab with soft sides and hard doors would be good enough. Thanks in advance I plan on making a add in the wanted section here soon.

I got one a few years ago from a fella who lived about 20/30 miles north of Jacksonville.
It's a hard cab with soft doors and a soft front, it's in pretty good condition, I'm thinking I paid around $300.00 for it. I did modify it a little to make it more user friendly. I'm guessing that the hardest part would be finding one close to home. If it helps any, I think there is a picture of it on my profile page. Good Luck with your search.

If you don't find one before the snow flies, a full face motorcycle helmet works great. I wear mine clearing snow and as an added bonus I stay a lot warmer too.

I have seen cabs made of wood and metal, so in a pinch you could be handy. Soft Jeep doors look like they might repurpose as cab doors, but soft cabs are better than nothing. There was a company from Indiana (The Original Cab Company--I think that was their name) and I buy those cabs for anywhere from $35-$125...maybe $150. I have pics of them on my 123 and 149 in my profile. However, during this season you are likely to pay a lot more for one.

OP: as far as what to expect to pay for a cab, expect to pay what you are willing to pay. I picked up a nice cab over the summer for $300, complete and in good shape, just have to keep your eyes open. The only problem with cabs is they don't come up that often around our parts. All that being said, I wouldn't go over $500 for a complete, nice cab. Otherwise, I was willing to top out at about $400.
