Default Newbie from NC
Hello everyone. I found this site by accident. I am looking forward to being of help and seeking help with my cubs. I have three Cub Cadets; 129 (running and currently in use) 128 (next project) 126 (in need of lots of work). I live in Rockingham, NC and currently retired. And as you can probably tell by my name I am a retired CSX locomotive engineer. Worked on the RR for 42 years and have had the 128 in boxes for years just waiting for this day. I found the 126 in Columbia, SC and purchased in really as parts but after getting it home it may be restored. I am looking forward to enjoying my stay.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Sam Mac, I ran all over. My home terminal was Hamlet, NC and from there we could go North as far as Richmond, Va, via Raleigh or Rocky Mount. Western to Rutherford, NC thru Charlotte, NC and southbound to Andrews, SC or Florence, SC. Southwestern to Abbeville, SC via Greenwood. Then there was the line to Wilmington. So as you can see there were lots of excitment in my railroad career.

I will try to keep everyone updated as the work begins and goes forward.

Greetings CSXengr. I saw your post in the NC thread and asked how often you came up through SOP but now I see you are retired - so no need to reply to that post. Rockingham must be a CSX "retirement center" - I chat frequently on ham radio with another ex-engineer from CSX. Small world. Welcome to the center of the Cub world.

Default New guy from NC
A new guy from NC just checking in, I am from Pleasant Garden just south of Greensboro. So far I have a 129 and I am ready to expand my collection.
