cub cart/trailer
I wanted to build a cart/trailer for the cub. I wanted it to be a little more heavy duty than the lawn tractor ones. I was at a buddies fathers shop the other day and saw this dolly remnant. I asked him how much, but he said just take it.
started with this.. i liked the fenders, and could see what she could become I cut the fender crossmember of, rotated it, and rewelded then along with a tongue made the larger frame from scraps..add a wood floor, rails, paint and decals..i have a set of front cub tires that I will swap onto the wheels....stay tuned |

I have started with worst looking starters, and Cad is right make it into a dumper, it will take a little longer to do but will be well worth it in the long run,
my wife bought me the same welding helmet you have about two years ago, I didn't think I would like it being from the old school, But I love it now, Oh and I have 13 trailers and only one small dumper, But I am going to change one into a big dumper as soon as I get around to it |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
