How much can a SGT lift? Here's the answer!
Finally put the Haban front blade on the 1872 today. Cleaned the 50" deck up but didn't want to put back on the tractor just to move it to the shed. So, I put the forks on the 3 pt, and the deck on a pallet. The tractor picked up the blade and the pallet/deck at the same time, but it struggled and was very slow, even with a lot of engine speed. Always wondered what the limit was, and now I know...

I have a 2072 with a 451 blower on the front with 6 40lb weight on the back with the weight bracket. I would say 250 out the back and say 200 out front. It will lift it almost full on low idle have to Idle it up to mid idle for full lift. I would think it would lift another 100lbs if at full idle. So that would make 550-600lbs total. Probably not good for it but that's what she'll do.
