Golf Cart wheel/tire options for our Cubs
The popularity of golf carts has really increased our options for wheel/tire combinations for our 3000 series tractors. I like custom wheels and have been playing with different variations. I have converted all of my 3000's to 4 bolt boat trailer hubs up front so matching wheel sets are becoming very appealing.

Wheels look nice. But I am not a fan of "fancy" wheels on garden/lawn tractors. I just purchased a JD X758 with styled aluminum wheels. I am switching to the old style yellow wheels/rims and mothballing the aluminum ones. JMO. Your machine and welcome to do as you please.

I'd just as soon keep mine looking like tractors. However I do need to go through the front wheel bearings soon, so I'll be looking for ways to upgrade those to better bearings or hubs.
And BTW, what's all that hanging on the back of your Cubs? |

I haven’t put custom wheels on a lawn mower and don’t plan on it. However, I am into custom wheels on trucks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
