what weight flywheels do you all use
I was just wondering what weight flywheels you all use. I am wondering if anyone has used the 37 lbs. flywheel from MWSC on there stockers,or if that is to big and should go more with the 25 lbs.flywheel.
Posted a few pic of my puller, and some of this years upgrades.

My first official pull will be tomorrow, but I have been doing some messing around with pulling a over sized dune buggy around. Everything seems to be working fine. It really sounds cool the way the tractor winds down now w the bigger flywheel.
Here r some pics of what we were pulling around. It was able to stop all of the tractors that came over to play. lol

I see you still have the pto/clutch installed... Has anyone tried to make a flywheel for the PTO side? I think it might be cool for people running stockers that don't want to loose the cooling fins.

We've made flywheels for the PTO side. some clubs frown upon it. others require a flywheel shield. I will say it is very hard on cranks when you have a swinging mass on both ends. especially stock cranks. Super Cub does make a heavy steel starter pulley 14 lbs. . when its a starter pulley you can usually get away with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
