kt17 series one
I have a kt17 series one here that I need a oil seal for (PTO side) but my local kohler dealer wants the spec number for the engine...but I can't for the life of me find it. From the kohler manual I have it says it should be located under the coil... One problem is there dosnt look to be any.sticker or anything... Does anyone have a part number for this for me or a good link for one. It's been leaking for quite.awhile and its time to.get it fixed. Thanks for any information guys I appreciate it.

Make sure you get the correct one.
they make 2. the series 1 seal is just a tad smaller than series 2/magnum where the shaft to goes through. Had a series 1 that a fellow stuffed two seals in there to stop the leak, yep they were the bigger ones and it still leaked, But I gave him an "A" for trying !!
