Default Port and polish

Been thinking about porting and polishing but would would like to try it myself any help as to where to start or if I just need to let somebody else do it or is it even worth it thanks!!!

Whether or not it's worth it depends largely on the cam you plan to use and how many RPM you are planning to turn.

Ok that's what I'm looking for I have a 321 with the small exhaust valve so I'm gonna make it an 1-3/8 anyway so that would probably be the better thing to correct?

I don't believe it's worth putting in a lager exhaust valve in.
