Default Creeper bolt torque on IH 100
Does anybody know what to torque bolts on creeper to tranny? The top bolts go into tranny housing and bottom bolts go into cover. Do they have different torques and what are they?

It should be listed in the service manual for the 100... I believe a PDF of it is available free on this site somewhere

nope, not in 100 manual which is crazy and torque specification for the grade bolt listed in my 782 manual seems a little muchbbbbbbb

Huh, well I went and looked in the service manual for the 73, 106, 107, 126, 127, and 147, and nowhere for any of the 3 gear drive units specified in the book does it mention the torque for bolting the creeper unit. Closest I could find was the main reduction housing. I then looked in the Operator's manual for the same tractors, and there was almost nothing on the creeper unit at all.

Starting to wonder if there's even any specification for it at all

The spec's for torque values are listed in the FSM's first section before the index even. Page VI

As with most things, the "torque specs" for the earlier Cubs was not as extensive as it is today. One may have to use the SWAG method.

im guessing fsm is torque values that are listed in my 782 manual that seems a little high, but i could be wring. it wont be the first time.

Scientific Wild Ass Guess
most all bolts have an approx. torque depending on the diameter, grade and thread pitch, that is an easy one to look up.
they usually error on the side of caution, and it is best to use common sense and "feel"
