2182 to keep or not
Hello everyone,
My father recently passed, he had a CC 2182 W/992 hours, 60" deck, snow blower, dozer blade all in great good shape, rs plastic has a broken piece above the muffler other than that good. I have the option to buy it from the estate, it had set for a few years but a bit of cleanup, new gas and some Sea Foam and she runs pretty good. I know he has the manuals as he purchased the unit new, then went to a Gravely ZT about 5 years ago. One thing I have noticed the steering is really sloppy running or not, seems the play is in the column anything particular I should look for? Any comments are welcome!

Well, the steering is power steering and all hydraulic, so I'm not sure where the play is. You'd have to look at see if the hydraulic cylinder is moving and if it's the steering linkage, wheel bearings, etc or if it's an issue with the hydraulics and steering box.
