Default LT 46 just quit starting
Hey folks, I've got a 2018 46 that just quit starting. It is getting gas and spark on both plugs. The air filter is clean and I tried bypassing the seat safety switch. I'm stumped. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

If you could help us out with a little more info that will make it easier to
help you. Like is there no power at all? Does it crank over but won't fire?
Are you sure that the battery has full charge?
There is more then likely all kinds of safety switches on it. Like brake, PTO,
seat, maybe even the chute. Don't know the particulars of that machine.
Do a little research and let us know what you find.

My bad... should have been more precise. It's an XT1 mower. It turns over fine, battery is charged. It ran and cranked fine until I shut it off. Went to crank it a few minutes later and it just turns over. I pulled the plugs and checked for spark, both have a strong one. Pulled the fuel line from the carb side of the pump and have solid fuel flow. New air filter...

That's weird. Normally when they randomly stop it's something electrical, which would have killed spark. I assume your tractor has the Kohler 18HP Courage?

Carb has a solenoid that requires 12v

If engine is turning over its not a safety switch.

That has to be the BINGO answer. Solenoid could also be malfunctioning.

1. crap blocking carb needle inlet....
2. carb float needle stuck closed....
3. flywheel key sheared....

Squirt some gas in the carb throat, crank,
if it fires and dies you've got a fuel problem.

Can't say I've ever seen a sheared flywheel key on anything that's not directly driven off the crank (e.g. pushmower). It's tough to diag, though.
