Every few days my wife keeps running in the house to tell me something "black" is in the pasture.
We have been "Turkey Central" this year, they love the crab grass seed!! D7K_0651800x578.jpg |

Wife's first bow kill and coyote
My wife Nancy got her first bow kill. It's a 1 1/2 year old doe, she was busting at the seems.
Then on our second day of the firearms season she took this female coyote at 95 yards with her 308, now she wants to have a pedestal mount done. Gotta love her, pretty soon I can just sit in the shop and let her do all the hunting. I had to put my bow buck in too. The family that hunts together, stays together. Won't go hungry this year! NO, we aren't eating the yote.

Here's a picture of a buck I got with my .58 Springfield that I have used in Civil War living history events. Decent 6 point.

Vince, I know that cat's are the number 1 snack for coyote's, but I think a bear would take one given the chance.
Kelpie, great job on the buck with your smoke pole Nik, that's a great lawn ornament! You don't even have to move it to cut the grass Chris, thanks for the congrats, it's my best buck to date. I had it officially scored last night after waiting for the 60 days drying time. It ended up being 141 1/8 typical, lost 4" since it was green scored, so it's now in the book, (Wisconsin Buck and Bear Club) see I can't enter it in Pope and Young because I shot it with a crossbow, even though I have the class A permit, class A means I can hunt with a crossbow and from a standing vehicle, (handicap) The wife was also very jacked up about her hunt this year. Going out this afternoon and try and get me a doeTry!

Todd,
Was able to leave work a hour early, weather was cold and clear. Passed on a doe right a closing time tonight. Nice to see some deer finally! There were about 3 or 4 deer, was getting too dark to see them well. Good luck! Regards, Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
