Anyone know where I can get a used left muffler for a cub cadet 1420?
They want $200 for a new one

Put a Ad in the Trading Post section under Want Ads.

Post up a pic of the muffler. Odds are there is something far more economical that could be used.

I would tend to agree..... but wait until you see it! It's an odd duck! I'd sure be looking at other options if you can find one that will fit into the frame... but by the looks of it, I'd say he's stuck with keeping OEM.

It's an LT with no real value, I'd buy a cheap muffler and put it on and either cut the hood to fit or leave it off.

I bought a junk 1720 cheap just for the motor and it had elbows with round $10 china replacements welded on , they worked, is all I can say.
prolly work ok for that little 1420 lawnmower.
