Default Oil Pan Gasket Kohler Corage 26

I have a LGT 1054 with a Kohler Courage 26 engine in it. Model SV735.
This engine is leaking oil. Looks to be out of thew oil pan area. I have the Permatex to fix it but looking to see if anyone has instructions or a video link to removing the oil pan. I was able to do the Valve Covers successfully but not sure on oil pan area.

Most newer engines don't have an oil pan. The leak is most likely the crank seal.

This one is a 2012 engine. If it is the crank seal is it hard to get to for replacement. Something I could do myself or should I take it in for service?

I would degrease the area to clean it up so you can confirm it's the crank seal, if it is you will need to remove the pulley from the bottom of the engine and the seal will be in the block. You can remove the seal by making a hole in it with a small drill bit and then threading a screw into the hole, this will give you something to grab on to so you can pull the seal out. To put the new seal in get a piece of pvc pipe that's the same diameter as the seal and longer than the crank, this will let you tap it in with a hammer. Pay attention to how far in the old seal is before you remove it.

Thanks all. I'll clean it up tonight and check out the crank seal. Picked on up at local repair shop just in case so I can replace this weekend.
