Default Rear weight bracket help

Last year we used a tray in the bottom of the tractor to put lead blocks in.This year i put a mid mount for hanging suitcase weights, but i need to figure out how to build a weight rack on the rear for suitcase weights.Just so you know we pull 900 1100 and 1300 pound classes.Nine hundred pound class really isnt the problem when we need the weight in the rear. It's when we get to the 1300 pound because there is alot of weights on the back of these tractors and i can't for the life of me figure out how to make it and hold a couple hundred pounds or so and not interfer with dropping the hook onto the hitch. Thanks in advance

I added the picture to my album. You can check it out there. I can't get it to load here for some reason. If you have any questions just let me know. I can get some more pictures later.

I used the existing bolts that bolt the seat pan to the frame. I will post another picture when I get home from work.

I will be pulling in a 950 and possibly 1100 class. I have 50 lbs wheel weights. I want to know your opinions on wheel weights compared to suit case weights in the rear. I understand there would be rotating mass in the rims but it also lowers the center of gravity. So I was wondering what people think and have experienced. Thank you

It's best to keep the weight as low and tight as you can. I recommend getting an under transmission box and fill that first with as much as you can. If you are pulling stock class I don't think the extra rotating weight has much effect but if you get up in the higher wheel speed stuff it definitely makes a difference.

I agree, with the faster wheel speed the harder it will be on the transmission ad drivetrain. As I progress in classes I plan on upgrading the weight brackets with a mid mount weight and rear weight bracket. As well as many other things. I want to get my drivetrain set up properly first.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
