Default Engine Swap
If a CC was manufactured with a choice of different engine sizes such as 10 HP, 12HP, 14HP or 16HP, are the 4 engine mounting bolts the same or are they different because the HP gets bigger? I want to put a Kohler K series 16 HP on a 108 that had a 12 HP on it? Don't think me dumb, please, but any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

it will bolt right in, actually the oil pans have the same part number.

Has mentioned just pay attention to make sure that the oil pans are the same. Wheel Horse and John Deere used different pans that will create a misalignment with your drive shaft.

When I answered I assumed the 16 was also out of a cub. To the op, if the 16 is out of a cub it should bolt in but if its out of something else it will probably require modificy.

According to my phone it is. every time I type mow it changes it to now and I guess best isn't a word either because it always changes it to beat.
