Good to be back!
Thanks guys! Has been a long time and a lot has changed for me. Thanks cubcadet & Roland👍. Long story short, since I was last on here I met a woman😜 and have lived together now for 3 years. She's awesome and when we met I was finishing my 71 refurb. It was one of the things that attracted her to me😁. I sold my whole collection after getting into Jeeps and needed $$ for wheels & tires. Sold it to a cubnut in CT. Afterwards I had sellers remorse and found a mint 1 owner 70 with front blade and #2 trailer. My shop is almost ready to start working on it and give it a full blown restore. This ones a keeper! Run my own Dog Daycare from our house now so I have plenty of time to work on it.
Looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making some new! |

Jude,
Great to have you back! I see you still like the 7 horse gear drives! You did an awesome resto on that loader. Sorry to hear it went down the road. Look forward to your posts. Once again, welcome back.

Welcome back Jude!! There certainly is nothing like hearing from an old friend--glad to see you post back on the forum. You have many good friends here. Just sorry to hear that you got tangled up with some woman....but if you eliminate them altogether, well then your selection becomes very limited. At least she thinks your tractor is sexy!

Lol
Thanks for the welcome backs. Good to be back! Here's a pic of the 70 & my Jeep all ready for parade tomorrow. I'm president of VT Jeep Association and I'll be leading 10-15 jeeps in parade. Also picked up a new Kubota recently too, I'll post up a pic if it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
