Sickle Mower

I have been wanting a sickle mower for years.

I bought a sickle mower from a fellow who said it was for a Cub Cadet. Although I didn't recognize it as a Haban, and was leary, I bought it anyway. This fellow was knowledgeable about Cub Cadets, and I thought maybe there could be another brand that I didn't know about, and I thought even if it did not fit, maybe I could adapt it (without cutting or welding on it to render it unusable for the original purpose). After all,it was yellow.

It turns out it does not fit a Cub Cadet, and after research, I found it fits another brand of yellow, and or orange and white garden tractor made in the 1960's.The mower is a Model # 2025012. It is in surprisingly good shape, so I thought it better to pass it on to someone who owns the actual brand of tractor that it fits.

So,the search continues.

Sorry that it did not fit Tim. I have been looking for one for years as well.
And kind of gave up hope, but not entirely. Hopefully someone here as a
way to use the one you found. Good luck in your quest for for the sickle.

Nice find on the Allis Chalmers sickle bar, fits a B-10. You can start at $500 and go from there.

This one was NOS but missing the drive pulleys and cover.

Thanks for the replies. It seems sickle mowers for garden tractors in general are rare.
