Cub Cadet 1772 Implement Lift

Is there a way to measure or a documented procedure the amount of lift "strength" of the implement lift on a 1772? Whil the cylinder does move, it seems to have limited range of lift when I have the 60" Haban mower on it. The rear mount on the Haban is different than other Habans I have in the "fleet". Most of the Habans I have use spring loaded attachment pins on the rear mount, while the Haban I have on the 1772, has a series of holes through which a shaft with hairpin clips on either end mount the Haban to the implement lift.
The first thing I want to find out if the lift is working properly and if there's some way to test it.

Can't help with a method to check your lift other than a pressure test of the hydraulic system. As far as the mounts on the Haban decks it seems like they changed the design on the fly. I've seen 3 or 4 different designs for the rear part of the deck attachment. Some have the spring loaded pins and some have a solid rod.

The habans I've had didn't raise very high. The hydro system had plenty of pressure I just think there's not much clearance for them to lift very high

my haban on the 1782 doesn't lift high either. just nowhere for it to go!

X3, deck on my 2072 doesn't clear the ground well enough to travel fast down a gravel drive. I think this is why so many folks let the tractor carry those heavy decks on the frame, resulting in all the severe wear folks find. In other words, design flaw by CCC.

Yea, clearance is very limited. On my 1572 I can get it to lift the Haban 60" deck so I can get 3 -4 inches of clearance between the wheels and the ground. On the 1772, while i can see the weight unloading off of the wheels, I can't get it to rise up high enough to get any clearance between the ground and the wheels like with the 1572.

For a comparison. On our gravel driveway, going anything other than super slow I can hear the rear deck wheels hitting the gravel stones with the deck as high as possible...

That's about how my 2072 does. Its been a long time since we put it under the machine but I think we had everything adjusted to go as high as possible without hitting the frame/mule drive, I seem to remember that being a problem.
