Good and bad
The bad first - 1" of frozen sleet followed by 6" of heavy wet snow. The good - the 2072 and hydraulic angle Haban 54" plow worked hard for 3 1/2 hours without a hiccup. It ran flawlessly, no leaks, nothing. Used about 4 gallons of gas and maybe a 1/4 of a quart of oil. The only thing that could have made things better would have been a Cozy Cab.

I love it when the Cubs work without issue!
On a side note, if you do any kind of real snow removal (I bet you do judging by the time you put in) get a cab!! It will up the enjoyment factor by about ten fold

That is a tough mess to deal with. Glad you were able to get it cleaned up before it froze solid.

We were forecast for freezing rain then 5-6" yesterday. Ended up with a half inch of ice (getting in the truck for the drive home was fun, not) and 1/8" of snow on top. The 147 didn't want to clear off the ice very well. I was hoping it'd get right down to the drive but it only took off some. What a mess.

Got 18" here overnight and I can say that I like love my snowblower, but a cab would definitely be nice! Throwing snow is great until the wind changes direction, to elaborate it has the same affect of pissing in the wind, right back in my face a 42" wide, 5 foot long, 18" high wall of snow came...

That snow sure was hard underneath. I had to lean into the 945 SWE walk behind quite often to stay on swath. Gets tiring. Broke two shear pins for the first time in years. Of course, when your youngest is out with a kids plastic/wood handled snow shovel and for reasons unknown to the universe decides to burry it in a snow drift........ Bam! Pow! Crunch! Then it was in 5 inch pieces.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
