Magnum Crankcase
"Generally speaking" is the crankcase halves from the M18 and the M20, the same. The engines share the same piston bore, but the stroke is different. I am "assuming" the crankcases would be the same, but don't know for sure. Any information will be appreciated.

Going to the Kohler TP-2233-C Parts Manual, it gives no part number(s) and says, "refer to TP-2253-D Selection Guide". I found a TP-2253-C but no "D" version yet.

The notation in the older parts books for the case halves is "serviced as a short block" and then to refer to TP-2253 M18-M20 selection guide. Appears that the case halves were never sold separately through Kohler. Not that this is definitive, but when they come up for sale, most sellers say they are one in the same.

I "assume" the actual cast Aluminum halves are the same. The HP and spec variants come from the Crank, internal, and external components.
