Default Cub Cadet 72
I am putting a kohler 8hp internal starter/magneto charging system on a CC 72. I need help on wiring it up. Tom

IIRC, use the wiring diagram for Quiet Line series tractors.

I believe it's easiest to use a QL ignition switch so that the voltage regulator is isolated when the key is off.

If you are not using an electric PTO, eliminate the PTO switch, "S" goes to safety switch then to solenoid.

Everything else is the same as the diagram shows.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
