Default Last Night's Haul

Hi guys it has been quite awhile since I have posted on here. I started a new job on June 1st after being with my previous employer for over 8 years. Between being busy with my job and the unfortunate "goings on" on OCC in the not too distant past I have just kind of been lingering. Anyhow enough of that here is my latest haul. I bought all this stuff (not all pictured) from my boss at work. He had taken a day off to go to an auction and we got talking tractors. I asked him if there were any IH Cadets at the auction and he said there were a few and "why are you into Cubs?" of course I said that I was and he said he had 2 in his barn that he would sell that's all it took and I was loading up! Got a '72 128 with 3 point and a '74 129. Both run and drive excellent. Also got 2 Brinly U adapters, 2 Brinly cultivators, IH weights w/ 8 IH bolts, 2 42" mower decks as well as a bunch of other odds and ends parts and pieces. Don't know what the plan is for them yet....

Very nice haul! I wish I could score an all original tractor around here! Rattle cans have made it nearly impossible! My O is untouched except for the disassembled engine!

Excellent deal, I almost never get to bring one home that already runs.

Looking good Martin. It sounds like your job change was meant to be. Very cool that they're local from Bath too, I remember seeing signs for that town on rte 17 I think, and the Polly O cheese plant. Great job rescuing 2 more, and attachments too

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
