Lawn Sweeper
I have your typical Lawn Sweeper (Agri-Fab). It works fine. I am looking for a tip or trick for this. When the bag or hopper gets full, then I am off "unloading area" to dump my load. Is there a way to turn off the "brush assembly" while go to/from the sweeping area.

Not that I'm aware of, every sweeper I've messed with has had a direct gear drive from the wheel to the brushes.

No, sure isn't. I got tired if driving around with it running to unload also, so I dump all the grass in piles near where I'm sweeping, then go back with a wagon/cart and pick them up. If your sweeping leaves, that may be counter productive though....

Leaves is not the major issue...........Pine Needles is..!!!
 Seems some one would come up with something to turn the brush on/off.

My uncle had one with a lever that would disengage the brush but I don't remember what brand it was.

If you go in reverse or hitch the sweeper to the font of the tractor the brushes freewheel.

It doesn't seem as productive but you gotta sweep away from the dump site and then back to it again, dump when you're there and go again. If you can get two rounds before you're full, all the better.

Make it mount to your 3pt hitch and raise it up... thats my solution
