IH Museum!!!
i was at the family farm this weekend for the 4th. one night went went down to the Millville carnival for some games and food. on our way out i just happened to spot an IH sign up this road. so naturally i had to go check it out. it wound up being an old IH dealer. it was all closed up, but there was a sign out front saying there was a show this weekend. so the next day we went back and wow! its an IH museum. turns out this IH club bought the old dealer a few years ago and have been fixing it up. so i walk in and its just a sea of red with some yellow mixed in. the parts area was all fixed up. they had t-shirts (which i had to buy one) and all kinds of literature, just really cool. got to talking with the old timers about the world of IH and cubs, swapping stories. i had a good time. they also told me there's a red power show next year just a few miles from the place. im definitely going to that, and ill have to bring some of my cubs. here a few pics.

That is awesome! Whereabout is millville? Im not too familiar with New Jersey, but did work up in Pennsville, NJ right over the delaware bridge last year, and I was shocked at how rural it is.

Cool
As a young feller back in the 60's I remember going with my granddad to the IH dealer (it's long gone now) for parts and seeing the sea of red tractors. And the IH toy tractors on the shelves behind the counter, and once and awhile would get the nod from grandpa that I could pick one out to bring home. Boy those were the days

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
