Default Slow motion project

A friend of mine stopped by to shoot the bull and have a few cold ones , and I was telling him about my plans for the 2072 . He asked if I was interested in a John Deere engine for my project , He wasn't sure about the h.p. but it was a diesel . It's on a log splitter. Turns out to be a 22 h.p. Yanmar out of a 455 john deere garden tractor . There was a company named CUB CADET YANMAR for a while . So who's gonna know . Besides it's a diesel . I will post some pictures along the way . I'm building a working tractor maybe turbo-ed , but first and foremost a working tractor .

Slow motion? Is that the build time ( one nut, bolt , or screw a day ) or how fast it will move when done ?

That is how long it takes me to get something done , with the job and remodeling the house I don't get as much cub time as I would like .

Yea, not to mention money, owning a house, full time job, night school. I understand quite clear. This should be a killer build!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
