Default Snow Blower 19A40024100 (2019 XT2)

Hey all,

I just got a 2019 Cub Cadet XT2 and 3 stage snowblower, model number 19A40024100. My question is, is there a cable-joystick kit for the chute control? If there is not a kit has anyone made a kit. To me turning the chute using the way that cub cadet designed it seems flimsy and kind of a hassle. Let me know what you guys come up with.
Thank you

I remember seeing on this site a motor driven chute. It was for an earlier snow blower with a hand crank. The crank was removed and a reversing motor mounted near the chute. Custom made by the owner.

If your snow blower works as well as mine, you will be pleased. Be prepared with goggles and a face mask. I have read a full face helmet works well for the blowing snow from the discharge chute.

The electric actuators are a decent idea but I will say I think a cable driven system would be quicker and more accurate. I’ve had a Cub Cadet walk behind snowblower and that joystick works so nice in my opinion. Thanks for the reply

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
