Default First time cub owner from MI

Hello, i recently picked up my first Cub Cadet. My friend has always had them and now I see why. No idea what model I have, will be trying to figure that out, but it sure does cut nice and I got it cheap, which meets my main two criteria.

SN by the brake pedal is 2050520U552503

SN on the rear end is 2050040U344921

I'll go get pics in a little while. I think it's some sort of creation because the body work is from a quietline with a manual trans and creeper gear which I think would make sense for an 800, but it has a hydrostatic with a control like a 127 (lever that swings, although the lever is a wrench that sticks out on the right I think because the throttle is in the way on the left). Battery is under the seat, manual lift deck. I can't find any numbers on the engine, where do I look for that?

Paint is rough, looks like it was rattle canned, a few things need to be fixed up, but for now it's a running and working mower. Hopefully this winter I'll get a chance to get things cleaned up and maybe repainted.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
