I had 2 582's yellow and white with yellow dash pedestal, both had the same decals as that 982, so it is not a mistake. They made 12,999 CCC tractors in 1982.

Interesting info on the 1982's. For as many as were produced, they don't pop up for sale all too often.

No, especially not Y/W ones.

It seems that IH built Y/W ones have IH decals, and CC built have appropriate ones.

The red steer and rear axles would also distinguish this.

The 582 I had was a CCC built one, it was #700,065 off the line. It had a cast rear and International Cub Cadet on the dash. Just trying to use up the old inventory...

Makes sense. Does anyone have S/N breaks for CCC tractors?

This one is 724132.

Lew, I was talking about the Y&W 982 that was pictured in post #1. Look at the pics on GT Talk. I'm pretty sure the factory didn't use a mop to paint it yellow like that one.

Yes, soft doors. Someone made a janky hard door (only 1) that is coming off.

Also needs a tube in the rear and front tire(s).

Is anyone familiar with the Sims cab on this? It has a S/N but not model that I see. Def needs a headliner.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
