Default 26x12x12 on my 1512? Comments

Like the title says, I have a chance at a good priced set (2) of maxxis power lugs

Will I have to raise the fenders?

Any negitive or positive comments on the maxxis power lugs?

Any ill effects on the size upgrade?

I am looking for some tri ribs for the fronts.

COMMENTS PLEASE.

You'll need different rims or else I think they will balloon up too much and won't fit. It will change your gear ratio. The SGT's that use 26X12X12's have a lower rear end ratio. Really no need to go that big. Not going to gain you anything.

I was wondering about the gear ratio.

I do have turfs and V bar chains for them, but they lack that bad a$$ look I was after.

23X10.50X12's is what it has on it. Just look for a set of those. Or, you can order some from here. Or put an ad in the "Wanted" section. Someone may have a set they want to sell.

Tacosteelersman, it depends on your primary use of the machine. Turf tires with two link chains that have the v- bar cross links are the absolute best traction set up for winter. Ag tires with weights are great for in the summer. Adding chains onto the Ag tires helps you get a little more traction if needed for summer use.

I have a FULL 1/8" of clearance!!

No, they do not rub, I was gonna add fender spacers, or trim the wheel wells, but, neither was necessary.

It pushes snow great without chains, so I have no need for chains.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
