I ASSUME he is referring to sharpening a wide blade many times????
All well and good, but how is one going to put the lift wing part back on after it wears to a knife edge and falls off, and no longer lifts the grass to be cut and goes badly out of balance? Then there were those blades that used a replaceable "tip" much like a sickle bar knife, they didn't do as well as they were promoted to be. There again I'm trying to read someone's mind and I can't remember what I had for breakfast. Some things wear and need replaced, like tires, Batt-trees, belts and blades. Not to mention fuel & lubricant. They are considered "consumables"

Does not make sense but the only way to make them last a bit longer would be to do some serious heat treating and bashing with a big hammer
Or mow less frequently Oz
