Default What kind of deck is this?
Greetings,
I bought a 2006 cc lt1045 and I am beginning to think the deck that came with this cub is maybe not the original one? I broke the deck belt about a week ago and ordered a new replacement one based on the 2006 lt1045 with a 46 inch cut. The new belt seemed like it was too short and WAY too tight... So tight that I couldn't even get it around all of the pulleys/spindles.

When I put the old belt around the new one it's definitely bigger (by about 6 inches) the old belt is black with no writing on it.. The replacement belt is 1/2 x 118. I have to believe that the old belt was a little stretched out over time and upon breaking.

I included a picture of my deck hoping that someone can identify it and point me in the right direction.

the parts diagram shows a 46" deck that has 1 tensioner that calls for a 118" belt .your deck has 2 tensioners parts diagram shows 2 decks that have 2 tensioners both belts say they're 122" long x 1/2" wide 2 different part #'s 954-04118 &954-04153a.i'd recommend taking your tractor and mower serial #'s to your dealer ...I looked this up on carter grunwald site...I'm sure there are other sites also

How about the model number off the tag on the deck. That's really more helpful.

Ok, there is a sticker on the deck that says 122615 AC

Is this the serial number?
