I have a question... I see what looks almost like a newspaper clipping giving the address of the event, which is maybe 5 miles from my house in WV. What all goes on at a spring plow? Is it just something to get people to plow their farm or is there more to it?

Thanks

Probably beacuse most of them live in surban setting plows days is about the only time there tractors get a good work out. I found out about this show last week when i went to a toy show an seen the flyer I know there is a 10$ membership fee for the year to belong to the club hope to see you out there i will be there with my john deere 110 an wheel horse c81

I'll have to see what my schedule brings my way as the day gets closer. If I go I'll probably take my 127 with the tiller on it, might bring my extra plow and see if I can sell it.

If it's dry enough I might be taking my 127 down to my Parents house in Southern MD to till my Dads garden.

Hey Rock I wound up getting called out to work that morning. I went down the road it was on a little after noon or so. I saw signs for plow day parking and the field was empty, I didn't see anything plowed. Over to one side I saw a pickup with an empty trailer. I was in the police cruiser so I couldn't pull back there. Did you wind up going?

you'll never see a plow day in southern WV... unless you want to plow up a hillside.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
