Default CC 1450 Tie Rod to Oil Pan Drain Plug

Anyone with a 1450 able to provide the normal clearance between the front end tie rod and the oil pan drain plug? With my recent acquisition it seems the tie rod has rubbed against the oil drain plug due to insufficient clearance. Motor mount issues? I’m a newbie to the CC world?

Mounts must be shot and I'd bet the cradle rails are worn into the X member as well.
Aluminum pan is more than likely badly worn at the mounting bosses also and may be missing a bolt or two ore even 3!!
Common issues for the QL series.
Did you check for any of this before getting out your wallet??

Remove the engine and check for damage in those areas ASAP

It is possible that someone put the tie rod on upside down?

An upside-down tie-rod will hit the axle and only let you turn the wheels half way. Don't ask me how I know this!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
