Looks great. Did you buy the motor as a retrofit kit or did you get it out of another tractor? Did you do any driveline mods?

The motor had been in something, possibly a mower, that caught fire. Found it on CL.

The motor end of the driveshaft is made from off the shelf CC parts. I used a 5/8" universal joint to couple the shaft to the hydro pump. Used 1/4" spirol pins to secure the u-joint to the shaft and pump.

Looks real nice, you must have relations in Pitts. Pa. I'm a little partial to the Ford blue's you and i have. This was the first pulling tractor we had about ten years ago. Mike

This garden tractor thing started a couple years ago when I decided I no longer wanted to shovel the occasional snow we get. I was looking for a Ford.
Nothing for sale. Posted wanted ads. Only reply I got was a guy who said "good luck; I've been looking for one too"
I got impatient; a 149 showed up in the classified and I bought it.
Still haven't found a Ford.
No relatives in Pitt. I'm a WVU alumni. Big football rivalry back then; probably still is. I haven't followed college football since.
