The Ebay and Craigslist thread
I know that the Ebay and CL thread is not to discuss things in, but I feel that if a member has a comment about an item that is listed that is should be ok to post about it. Now the conversation should stay on the item in question and not be allowed to wander, but I haver seen a few comments/ questions that I felt should of been allowed to stay that were deleted. IDK that just how I see it FWIW.

The intent behind the No Comment policy was to reduce the comments like:
* I wished I lived closer * I wished I had the money * Looks like a good deal * That is way too much money and so on. If a comment was to add or clarify information, then this would be OK. From an Admin point of view, this Section is a PITA. I can't tell you how many hours I have spent scouring the Ads to see what is current or what has been sold then clean up (delete) the outdated material.

Is there a way you can put a time limit on these postings so they will delete themselves after say two weeks or so. I can't imagine having to keep up with all of that and deleting what has been sold. Actually, to be honest, I couldn't imagine keeping up with anything to do with this forum, or any forum. It must be time consuming. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this. Best forum out there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
