I am from north central maryland. I am 16 and already have a decent tractor collection, a ford 9n and 2n, a 2004 cub Rzt50, a 1963 cub original, a 2006 husqvarna lawn tractor, a 250cc go-kart, two mower carts, one lawn sweeper, two push mowers, a tiller, 3 string trimmers, and a leaf blower. Anyhow, I thought I would introduce myself.

Heres a pic of the collection, the original is now in the process of being redone, not perfectly, but better than the previous owner's attempt.

Its snowing hard here, but if this will work, I'm going to put on my coveralls and try this. Let you know if I feel 16 again.

If it works, I'll be waiting for the school bus tomorrow morning! (and I'm 67)

Dave

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
