Default Say it aint so Joe!!

Well Mike and I were at it again today. He found this on Friday and it took till today for the owner to take my offer. It's another 1806 has 700 and some hours on it. The lady I bought from said her kid lost it on a hill and rolled it then it took off down the hill and hit their garage. Hit the front end broke the grill casting, and grill, messed the hood up a bit, bend the side panels a little, and messed up the muffler tins. But it runs came with a really nice 50" deck, and hub caps. Looks like the old 1872 will be back in business soon!!!!

Now wonder why I cant find any 82s anymore. Nice find. If you are going to pillage it for parts, I could make use of the lift arm.

Thanks Diz. Really it's not to bad at all, the grill casting is just sitting on it. And the frame is bent pretty good, but over all it took a heck of a hit and fared pretty well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
