Default Many Good Ideas From this Cub Could Be Added to a Cub Cadet!!

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/grd/2842655307.html

I love the
front mounted spring assist,
black/red paint,
front lift bracket,
dash explanation of the multi position light switch,
grill,
side panels,

and on and on.

Many ideas that could be used on a Cub Cadet!!

I love the size of a Cub, but, the MANY negative comments about 2nd gear being too slow and 3rd gear being too fast keeps me away from them.

I have always wanted one of those too. I have heard they are underpowered and very cumbersome. Also the ones around here only have decks, no 3 pt. we have a zero turn to cut grass... But don't get me wrong, It looks Great!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
