Default 10 inch plow

Yesterday I called a guy about a tractor and told him that I was looking for a plow but not a three point hitch style. He told me to come by so I did. Turns out he had a ten inch plow with a sleeve hitch and he gave it to me for free. He said he was gonna disassemble it to use on another plow for a big tractor but had decided that it was to much work. Pretty sweet I thought.

Default Simplicity mower deck

I tried to do the same with a 48 inch Simplicity mower deck that I took off of a mower to put one of Cadplans' front end loader on. It was a nice deck with all of the hardware but I couldn't get any takers on it for free! I finally scrapped it but it almost broke my heart. I think there is a lot of good things out there and if we only knew about them most people would like to just get them hauled off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
